YOUR MISSION:

Richemont is looking for a talented and highly motivated Technical Team Lead to join our enthusiastic and dynamic CONTENT PLATFORMS Product Area in Meyrin.


The concerned product team counts 7 people and is specialized in the development of various content exposing systems using various integration types (Push/Pull) and technologies (Javascript, Headless CMS, Search Engine, JAVA, GraphQL, REST, …). The content can be Asset, Product Data, Editorial Content, …


The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background (React.js, Headless CMS, Search Engines, JAVA, GraphQL, SQL, …), leveraging AI in their daily activities, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving results. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Development Engineers and Business Analysts in achieving their goals and contributing to the overall success of the Product Area. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.


HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

  • Lead and motivate a team of Development Engineers and Business Analysts by providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

  • Cultivate and foster a #OneTeam mindset

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including team members, managers, other Product Area and Maisons teams.

  • Participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings to ensure cross-team collaboration and coordination

  • Organize or attend regular meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.

  • Support the Product Area Manager in the preparation of Quarterly Alignment Days (PI Planning like)

  • Implement product goals and objectives with the team, ensuring alignment with Product Owners and Product Area Manager.

  • Collaborate with the Product Owners to develop release plans, including release date and scope.

  • Ensure that the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized and has actionable items for the next sprint and the next release.

  • Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure that solution designs match the architecture vision.

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Lead and Test Engineers to ensure the quality of the deliveries.

  • Collaborate/coordinate with the Support Lead and Support Engineers in case of questions, operations or incidents.

  • Ensure that key information (such as environment status and important milestones) is shared with the Product Owner and the Product Area Manager.

  • Manage the timesheets and monitor the team’s budget consumption.

  • Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

  • Create reports and share to a large audience the results of the team.

  • Co-build communication material with Product Owners for business stakeholders.


HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

  • Proven experience as a Technical Team Lead on large and global projects

  • Experience playing the Technical Team Lead role for at least 3 years for a software development team.

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.

  • Knowledge of the following technologies: CMS Headless (Contentstack, Contentful, Strapi,...), Search Engines (Algolia, ElasticSearch,…),HTML, React.js, Node.js, Gemini Code Assistant or equivalent , Sitecore Content Hub (Saas) ,ProductsUp (Saas) ,GraphQL , MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, AWS S3 ,Cloudwatch, loudfront, Akamai,Datadog, HashiCorp Vault , Java Springboot, Java, Microservices , REST, IntelliJ , Gitlab ,Camel, AmazonMQ, ActiveMQ, Solace

  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games

  • Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket or Gitlab.

  • Strong knowledge of Release Management: code branching, code versioning and trunk based Development.

  • Good ability to mentor, motivate and inspire a development team

  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

  • Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (all levels)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations

  • Fluency in English and French
