EDV Werke is looking for a E2E Data Lead.
Working Model: Hybrid – Geneva, Switzerland
Form of cooperation: B2B Contract
Tasks:
- Data Structure & Quality Analysis – Analyze key data entities, structures, quality, governance, dimensions, values, granularity, and cardinality within the scope of system and ERP migrations.
- Fit-to-Standard Assessment – Assess current data structures against vendor standard models, identify gaps, and develop fit-to-standard strategies and actionable remediation plans.
- Data Design Workshops – Lead cross-functional data design workshops with Data Stewards and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve data issues, and drive informed decisions.
- Data Cleansing & Harmonization – Develop strategies for data simplification, cleansing, harmonization, and standardization, addressing duplication, incomplete data, inconsistent values, and taxonomy misalignment.
- Data Migration Planning – Define and coordinate action plans required to prepare data for design phases and subsequent migration activities across business and technical workstreams.
- Data Model Development – Draft TO-BE data models and validate their alignment with vendor standards, business requirements, and the target system landscape.
- Governance & Lifecycle Management – Document data ownership, lifecycle, governance requirements, and fit-to-standard decisions while ensuring alignment with the organization’s MDM framework.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Coordinate cross-functional activities, dependencies, decisions, risks, and actions while translating between business, data, and technology teams.
- Technical Feasibility Validation – Work with technical teams to assess the feasibility of proposed data strategies, transformation requirements, and migration approaches.
- Management Reporting & Recommendations – Present findings, recommendations, key decisions, risks, and action plans to senior stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
Must-Have Skills:
- Professional Experience – 8–10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in business analysis, data management, and/or project management within complex transformation environments.
- Data Migration Expertise – Hands-on experience with system data migrations is mandatory, preferably including large-scale ERP data migration projects.
- Data Analysis & Remediation – Proven experience analyzing data structures, identifying data quality issues, and developing effective data transformation, cleansing, and remediation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management – Strong experience managing internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Transformation Experience – Experience working closely with business and technical teams in complex system transformation, migration, or data management environments.
- Cross-Functional Leadership – Strong ability to drive consensus, coordinate activities, manage dependencies, and align multiple functions and stakeholders toward common outcomes.
- Business & Technical Translation – Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data and migration requirements and ensure common understanding between business and technical teams.
- Communication & Language Skills – Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across different organizational levels.
- Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent university degree.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Sector Experience – Experience working in the humanitarian or non-profit sector.
- Professional Certifications – BABOK certification such as CCBA or CBAP, or certification in project management and delivery methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, HERMES, PMI, or IPMA.
- Data Governance Knowledge – Certification or formal training in data governance, with practical understanding of governance frameworks and master data management.
- French Language Skills – Knowledge of French for collaboration within international and multilingual environments.
