Your responsibilities

• Contribution to the Institute's post mortem diagnostic service
• Contribution to the Institute's biopsy and cytology diagnostic service
• Contribution to collaborative research projects and undergraduate teaching

Your profile

• EU-recognised veterinary degree
• At least 12 months postgraduate veterinary work (eg. in practice or by working towards a doctoral degree)
• Interest in pathology and in postgraduate training in this discipline; basic experience in the field is an advantage
• Optimally scientific publication(s), eg. as part of a completed dissertation (Dr. med. vet., PhD)
• Very good English and German skills (spoken and written)

• Training in all aspects of diagnostic veterinary pathology, including forensic pathology and digital photodocumentation
• Work in a large diagnostic team and with a broad range of species
• Qualification for the certifying examination of the European College of Veterinary Pathologists
• Salary according to the cantonal requirements
