Tasks
- Research on topics related to intergroup relations, social networks, and deviance
- Curriculum development and teaching in the Bachelor and Master programs of the department in these areas
- Collaboration on research projects at the IFS and the department
- Further development of own research agenda
- Participation in academic activities of the IFS and the department
Requirements
- PhD in sociology or related disciplines
- Relevant qualifications in sociology, social psychology, or related disciplines
- Research experience in intergroup relations, social network analysis, deviance, or related areas
- Experience with quantitative and/or computational methods
- Experience in teaching at the Bachelor and Master levels
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; sound knowledge of German is a plus
- Experience with writing third-party funding applications is a plus
