Stellenbeschreibung

mimic robotics is a frontier physical AI company building the full stack of general-purpose dexterous manipulation. Founded in 2024 by ETH Zurich researchers, mimic pioneered Video-Action Models for robotics while also developing in-house dexterous hand hardware. Our growing team brings together world-class researchers working across our offices in Zurich and San Francisco.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop PCBs, flexible PCBs (FPCs), and wiring harnesses for compact robotic systems.
  • Engineer electrical solutions for tight integration constraints and high-cycle applications.
  • Ensure electrical designs meet high standards of reliability, durability, and manufacturability.
  • Support electronics certification, testing, and validation.
  • Collaborate with embedded and mechanical engineers to optimize hardware integration and ensure good signal integrity.
  • Drive designs from prototyping through to high-volume production.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5+ years of industry experience in electrical hardware and/or electronics design.
  • Experience designing electronics for manufacturing at scale, ideally with production volumes of 10K–1M+ units.
  • Strong experience designing flexible PCBs, and/or wiring harnesses.
  • Ideally, hands-on experience with dynamic flex PCBs designed for repeated bending in compact products (e.g., laptops, foldable smartphones, consumer robotics).
  • Hands-on experience debugging signal integrity and interference issues on wiring harnesses / flexible PCBs.
  • Familiarity with electronics certification, design validation, and reliability testing.
  • Strong attention to detail, structured working style, and a commitment to robust, high-quality engineering.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary engineering environment.

 Why Join Us?

You'll play a key role in developing the electrical architecture of our next-generation robotic hands. Your designs will directly impact the reliability, uptime, and scalability of our robotic systems as we bring them into real-world applications.
