Senior Custody DeveloperJoin Our Crypto Custody Team
At the heart of Bitcoin Suisse is our Custody division, where we are dedicated to safeguarding digital assets with the highest standards of security and innovation. Our team builds and maintains the Bitcoin Suisse Vault—our proprietary, highly secure custody system—which supports over 20 blockchains and a wide variety of transaction types. In addition to powering our internal operations, the Vault is also used directly by our clients, giving them trusted access to their assets.
We also interface with leading third-party custody solutions, integrating external systems with our own to offer clients flexible, best-in-class storage options while maintaining seamless interoperability across the broader crypto ecosystem.
Our Custody team is responsible for managing all client cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. This critical function connects with numerous systems across Bitcoin Suisse—as well as with external partners—using both synchronous communication (e.g., REST APIs) and asynchronous messaging (Kafka) to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong background in .Net programming and hands-on experience with different architectural patterns to join our Custody team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications to support and enhance our various operational domains. You will be a part of a cross-location development team and work closely together stakeholders in various domains in an event driven and distributed system landscape.
You will have the following responsibilities
- Lead the development of robust, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade applications
- Ensure code quality through reviews, mentorship, and the establishment of coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to deliver innovative solutions
- Contribute to the improvement of test automation processes
What you bring along:
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in .NET, and modern software development practices
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply and work collaboratively in a team
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience in blockchain, cryptography or highly secure systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with frontend development in Typescript and React
- Experience with micro services and message driven architecture
